Get ready, Kelly Clarkson fans, because the original 'American Idol' has a date set for the release of her new album. Yes, finally. 'Stronger' will hit stores on Oct. 25 with a new single to come in as little as two weeks.

When we last reported on new forthcoming Kelly music a month ago, the 'My Life Would Suck Without You' singer was hopeful that her new single would see the light of day by the end of August or early September -- and it looks like she got her wish. Miss Clarkson will debut 'Mr. Know It All' in a live broadcast on her website on Aug. 30. The song will head to radio stations everywhere immediately following.

Unfortunately, you won't be able to get your hands on your very own digital copy of 'Mr. Know It All' until Sept. 5, but that's still earlier than expected, so we're not complaining. Truthfully, the fact that the record has a release date at all is pretty amazing! Initially, 'Stronger' was due to be unveiled in the fall of 2010, and after that came and went, Sept. 2011 was listed as the new, though delayed, drop date. Now that we know for sure when the new tunes will arrive, we can start crossing off the days on our calendar one by one until Oct. 25.
