Kelly Clarkson is the latest singer announced to perform at the upcoming 53rd annual Academy of Country Music Awards event in Las Vegas.

The singer joins newly announced performers Kane Brown, Alan Jackson, Little Big Town and Jon Pardi, who are scheduled to perform at the show at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on April 15, UPI reports.

Though Clarkson never released a country album, the Texas-born, Nashville-based singer has dabbled in the genre over the years, collaborating and/or performing with country acts like The Wreckers, Reba McEntire and Rascal Flatts.

In 2006, Clarkson performed "What Hurts the Most" with Rascal Flatts at the 41st ACM Awards. The following year, she and McEntire performed a duet of "Because of You."

In 2012, Clarkson won the ACM awards for Single Record of the Year and Vocal Event for the Year for her work on "Don't You Wanna Stay" with Jason Aldean.

Previously announced performers for the 2018 ACM Awards include Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Florida Georgia Line, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Maren Morris, Bebe Rexha, Thomas Rhett, Blake Shelton, Keith Urban and more.

Reba McEntire will host the event, set to air on CBS, while presenters include Eve, Ashton Kutcher and Kiefer Sutherland.
