Kelly Rowland slows it down on her soft ballad 'All of the Night,' which is the newest leak from her upcoming album 'Here I Am.' The song is very melodic with its tickling keyboards, orchestral violins and hiss from old vinyl.

On the track, Rowland uses radio metaphors to describe how she wants to be pleased in the bedroom. She sings, "So turn me up/ Keep me pumpin' / Like I'm your favorite song / Boy, it ain't nothin' wrong / With makin' love / Sweet love / Don't need nothin' / Just turn the music on / And I'll be your favorite song." She later adds: "One and one we are having some fun in the bedroom all day and all of the night."

Rapper Rico Love provides the requisite love poem, but he's not very romantic. In fact, his raps are a little uncouth for this love ballad. What's needed here is a strong R&B male like Trey Songz or Usher who can stand toe-to-toe with Rowland and reciprocate her love calls. Hopefully, a remix is being considered with that idea in mind.

'All of the Night' is a great ballad for the Quiet Storm format on radio. It will definitely get you in the mood for some one-on-one time with your significant other. It looks as if Rowland has finally got her R&B groove back.

Kelly Rowland's 'Here I Am' LP will arrive in stores July 26.
