If Instagram were a high school cafeteria in 2015, Selena Gomez, Kendall Jenner, Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber found themselves firmly planted at the cool kids' table.

Across the past 12 months, the four young celebrities dominated the social media site and collectively posted the 10 shots that generated the most user interaction, according to CrowdTangle. Between photos that featured Gomez drifting off into dreamland, Bieber reminiscing about his ex and Swift accepting a bouquet from Kanye West, the double taps abounded. But whose shot stood out above the rest?

Notching nearly 3.5 million interactions and more than 150,000 comments, Jenner's springtime shot of her hair twisted into a series of hearts was the program's top post. The image, captioned with a telling emoji heart, finds the model outfitted in what appears to be a wedding dress, and fans have been leaving comments on the submission's beauty (relentlessly!) since its internet-birth seven months ago.
