Rapper Kendrick Lamar takes us from Compton to Paris, France in his new video for 'Backseat Freestyle.' The song appears on K-Dot's celebrated album 'good kid, m.A.A.d city.'

Directed by Jerome D, Dave Free and Lamar, himself, the black-and-white visual boasts frenetic shots of K-Dot's Compton neighborhood and the city of love. In addition, several key characters from his album show up in the clip as well.

Lamar's cranky father, who, if you remember on the album, was upset that Lamar took his dominoes and never returned them. Also making appearance is the booty-shaking Sherane, the object of the rapper's affection on the LP -- particularly on 'Poetic Justice.'

At the end of the video, the west coast emcee raps 'Backseat Freestyle' behind a glowing backdrop of the Eiffel Tower. Dreams do come true -- just ask Kendrick Lamar.
