Kesha’s ’31 Seconds’ Demo Leaks

A demo for the song '31 Seconds,' sung by pop tart Kesha, has leaked. It is not clear when the song was recorded or why it was leaked. However, the tune is not exactly stellar nor does it suck; it's just somewhat limp and lackluster when compared to the rest of the pop star's catalog. '31 Seconds' doesn't boast any of the sass and dirty girl spunk that Kesha has become known for in the past year. There are no traces of the glitter-soaked dirty girl we've come to know and love.

Overall, '31 Seconds' is a low-key dance song, bolstered by a beat, but it's not what you'd expect from someone as fierce as Kesha! This is a girl who shoots condoms out a canon at her shows and smears herself with fake blood. Perhaps this song would be better suited for a different, more tame pop diva, but it's not prime for Kesha.

A dreamy Auto-Tune is used to treat some of the vocals and Kesha sings about having the "night of our lives," pulling fire alarms and spending 31 seconds alone with someone, presumably a boy. She also engages in a numerical countdown, too. A lot can happen in the space of 31 seconds, especially when you are dealing with Kesha.
