When Kesha announced she was touring with Pitbull, a lot of Animals scratched their heads. Considering 'Warrior' had a bit of a rock n' roll turn, it seemed strange that she'd hit the road with the Latin pop king. But it actually makes a lot of sense when you think about it. K-Dollar Sign herself explains.

The duo actually worked together back in 2009 when Kesha guested on his track 'Girls,' so they have a history -- and he even remixed 'Crazy Kids,' her new single, so that history keeps growing.

"I think that the reason I decided to tour with Pitbull is because we've worked together, and the first time we met, we had a very cool thing happening, but I was like 'Aw, I'll never see him again.' And then I kept on seeing him!" she told MTV News. "And the more we saw each other, the more we got along, and I realized that actually, we're incredibly similar; he just likes to have a good time and he's a super positive person, and I'm a really positive person who likes to get weird and wild."

The whiskey enthusiast and Bud Light spokesman actually bonded over a different booze when they came up with their tour.

"One day, [Pitbull and I] were backstage, drinking tequila, kind of f---ing around, and we're talking hypotheticals: 'We should go on tour together; I'll sing a song in Spanish, how about that?'" she giggled. "And he said 'Okay.' And then, like a month later, it happened in real life ... so, how's it going to work? I have no f---ing idea! But is it going to be fun? Yeah. F--- yeah."
