'Entourage' star Kevin Connolly has split with his girlfriend Lydia Hearst, a source to PEOPLE has confirmed.

The two had been dating for more than a year but have since "gone their separate ways" according to the magazine.

Hearst is the heiress to the Hearst publishing empire founded by her great-grandfather William Randolph Hearst. She has modeled in 'GQ' and 'Elle' and also serves as a supermodel coach for the Oxygen reality competition show, 'The Face.' Her mother is Patricia "Patty" Campbell Hearst, who famously was a kidnapping victim in 1974 and later joined her captors and attempted to rob a bank. Patty Hearst later became one of the most famous examples of Stockholm Syndrome.

Connolly is best known for his role on HBO's 'Entourage' and is currently shooting the 'Entourage' movie. He also currently stars on the CBS comedy 'Friends With Better Lives.'

In an interview with Access Hollywood, Hearst revealed in March that the two had met through "mutual friends and Facebook."
