Kid Cudi and Shia LaBeouf have teamed up to release the video for 'Marijuana' in which the rapper is smoking the drug after publicly swearing off the substance.

Two months ago, the Ohio native announced that he was "happy being sober," and done using drugs. However, he had already recorded his 'Man On The Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager' track.

It's likely that the video for 'Marijuana' was shot before Cudi wrote his anti-drug post, especially since the music video includes shots of the Red Light District in Amsterdam, a place the rapper references on his Tumblr page.

"This is not a joke. I know most of you wanna see me all drugged out and f---ed up and i know misery loves company, but im sorry those days are over," he wrote. "I had a good run, Amsterdam and all. Im happy being sober. Im happy being a new me."

According to Blackbook, Kid Cudi has been pursuing a collaboration with the 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon' star since 2009. "He's killing s---," the rapper said. "I feel like I'm doing the Shia Labeouf in music."

The actor is reportedly working on a short film centered around Cudi's song 'Maniac' featuring Cage. LaBeouf directed Cage’s 'I Never Knew You' video and has been working on the New York rapper’s biopic.
