Kiesza Releases New Track ‘The Love’ [LISTEN]

Kiesza has released a new track, 'The Love,' as a free download for those who pre-order her debut album, 'Sound of a Woman.' 'Sound of a Woman' is set to be released on Oct. 21 in the U.S.

The 25-year-old electronic-pop star first made waves with her international hit 'Hideaway,' which became a hit on both the Billboard Hot 100 and the Billboard Top 40. She later followed up 'Hideaway' with her next single, 'Giant in My Heart,' and will be releasing 'No Enemiesz' as her next single on Nov. 24 in the U.K.

In a statement released to the press, Kiesza says of her album, "I think people will be surprised to hear some of the songs on this album. Because of the success of my first two singles, I’m seen perhaps as a House or Dance artist but I’ve been in to grunge, rock, folk groups in the past."

The artist also describes 'Sound of a Woman' as being "inspired by New York dance clubs of the ‘90s as well as current UK club culture."
