Kim Kardashian Catches on Fire, Unleashes Twitter ‘Rant’

Kim Kardashian's second pregnancy isn't slowing her down, and she's had an eventful few days. First she was on literal fire, and then she went on a social media "rant" so un-Kim-like that Twitter asked her what was going on.

Let's back up: On Monday night (June 1), Kim attended the Council of Fashion Designers of America awards at Lincoln Center in New York City. As Billboard reports, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star presented Instagram co-founder Kevin Systrom with the evening's Media Award while her husband Kanye West presented Pharrell with CFDA's Fashion Icon award (keep up the great hat-work, Skateboard P!).

Basically, everything was going great until Kim caught on fire. Well, the feathers on her gown did, to be exact. As Kim explains in the Instagram post below from Tuesday (June 2), her frock had a too-close encounter with a candle — and a quick-thinking Pharrell and his wife Helen Lasichanh jumped on Kim to stomp out the flames. As Kim says, they "saved her life," if not her dress.

Not wanting to step into another fire hazard with too many dangle-y parts to her ensemble, Kim did a sartorial 180 on Tuesday evening (June 2), wearing a skintight, pink latex-like number to the U.S. launch of Hype Energy Drinks in Nashville. Kim's a brand ambassador for Hype, and while it's doubtful that she pre-partied with cans of the stuff given her current state, she did unleash a series of unfiltered tweets that seemed slightly out of character.

After complaining of morning sickness, Kim tweeted, "Can't wait til my website is active! I'm gonna do live video streaming so every time someone talks sh---t I can go blast the f---ck outta them!" Whoa, we can't wait either, then. After blasting surrogacy rumors and saying she "won't give lames the time of day," she said that Twitter contacted her to ask if this was really Kim tweeting.

It's Kim, just not a side we often see — and a stomach-sick, highly scheduled pregnant lady is allowed to blow off some steam. And as the current second-most-famous Keeping Up with the Kardashians star, she's got to keep it spicy.
