Kim Kardashian Shows Jimmy Kimmel How to Take a Proper Selfie [VIDEO]

Kim Kardashian has officially instructed Jimmy Kimmel in the selfie arts.

The reality star appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday night (April 30), during which she showed the talk show host how to take the perfect selfie.

"Lighting is everything. Angle is everything," Kim explained. "And a lot of it has to do with how you crop it. If you don't like something on your body, just crop it." So true.

The two practiced some ridiculous poses — with Kim rocking duck lips fit for, well, a Kim Kardashian selfie — and Jimmy Kimmel looking a little bit more like a fool. Of course, the pictures turned out hilarious(ly awkward), but these are the things that happen when you combine Kim Kardashian and Jimmy Kimmel.

Still, we're not so sure why Jimmy even wanted to attempt such a stunt, since he was already part of the #CutestSelfieEver with One Direction. And that was a photo that included 5/5 of 1D (R.I.P., that time when Zayn was still in the band), puppies, kittens and even a unicorn. And did we mention One Direction? Because yeah.

But in addition to her photo-taking tips, Kim Kardashian also discussed a very public family matter: her stepdad Bruce Jenner's transition into a woman.

"I said, 'The only thing is, whatever you do, don't steal my glam team,'" she joked, before getting a little more sincere: "I said, 'Whatever help you need, you have to look and feel your best, and if you need help with anything, style-wise, glam-wise, I am here to help you.'"
