Kim Kardashian was robbed of millions of dollars worth of jewelry early this morning (October 3) while staying at a private mansion in Paris, and new reports say thieves did not enter quietly.

Kardashian, who was in France for Paris Fashion week, was staying at a private residence in the city's eighth district (near the famous Rue St. Honore) when five men dressed as police officers arrived, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The men held the property's security guard at gunpoint and tied him up in a stairwell before setting their sights on Kardashian's prized jewelry collection.

Sometime between 2:30 and 3 AM, two of the five men advanced inside and targeted Kardashian. They held her at gunpoint before tying her up and locking her in a bathroom. By the time the event was over, the men had left with up to $11 million worth of jewelry, though police are still evaluating exactly what was lost.

Kardashian's sisters Kendall Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian and their mother, Kris Jenner, were also in town, and had all watched the Givenchy show together just hours before the robbery. Kendall, who was elsewhere in town at the time of the attack, rushed to be by Kim's side, according to The Daily Mail

Kardashian's rep Ina Treciokas has insisted to THR that Kardashian is "badly shaken but physically unharmed." Police and security are now patrolling the residence more aggressively. The BBC has reported that Kardashian has left Paris in a private jet.

Kardashian had previously stayed in the Parisian house before her 2014 wedding to West.

Kardashian's husband Kanye West cut a concert at the Meadows Festival in Queens, New York short after getting word of the attack, and told the crowd that he had to attend to a "family emergency."
