Fans of the Kingdom Hearts video game series, rejoice! Square-Enix has announced a massive, multi-city orchestral tour to celebrate the 15th anniversary of its beloved Disney-partnered franchise, set to launch in 2017.

The tour, which will span seven cities around the globe, will begin in Tokyo on March 10, 2017 before hitting Europe, Asia, and then North America, where it will wrap in New York City on June 24, 2017. Featuring over 70 musicians onstage, the tour will be supervised by the franchise's director, Tetsuya Nomura, with music from the series paired with on-screen, cinematic visuals from the games.

In a press release, Yoko Shimomura, who has composed music for the wildly popular series, gushed, "When I began composing for the Kingdom Hearts series, I couldn’t even dream this day would come. But it has, thanks to our beloved fans. This concert and the music of Kingdom Hearts could not have existed without their undying support. I can’t thank them enough. The concert will encompass my feelings toward the series and those dear to me around the world."

Of course, this isn't the first orchestral event to celebrate a video game's score. Games like Metal Gear Solid, Pokemon, and The Legend of Zelda are just a few series that have been honored with live music tours. In fact, in 2015 Square-Enix celebrated the music of another one of its landmark franchises, Final Fantasy, with an event in London.
