With parents like Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, its no wonder 5-year-old Kingston Rossdale wanted to channel his rock roots with his new hairstyle. The 5-year-old debuted a cool blue mohawk on July 2 in West Hollywood, Calif.

According to Us Weekly, Kingston spent the sunny Saturday with his 2-year-old brother, Zuma, and his mom and dad, visiting a crafts center, eating ice cream and buying new kicks at Sportie L.A.

The youngster was recently spotted with a blond 'hawk while trying to give his little bro a kiss two weeks ago, but the punk-inspired shade is a new look. The blue 'do came just in time for the Fourth of July, which, according to the magazine, Kingston spent wearing a red-and-white-striped Lacoste polo and Zuma celebrated in a Captain American costume.

While Kingston may be too young to know this, his rockin' hair color was also the hue of choice for his mom back in the day. Stefani, who has changed her hair color numerous times over the years, dyed her locks a bold blue in 1998. Like mother, like son!
