Universal Pictures, the studio behind 'Snow White and the Huntsman,' is planning on moving forward with a sequel to the 2012 fantasy-action film, but without Kristen Stewart.

The Hollywood Reporter reports that 'The Walking Dead' show creator Frank Darabont has been hired to direct the sequel which will instead focus on Chris Hemsworth's character, the Huntsman. Charlize Theron is also expected to be back as Ravenna, the evil queen.

While the film's script has not been finalized, it was reported that Stewart could make a cameo appearance or at least appear in a handful of scenes.

In all likelihood, however, Stewart might want to avoid the film all together as she will surely face questions about the first film.

After the release of 'Snow White and the Huntsman,' the focus turned from the movie to Stewart and director Rupert Sanders' personal lives, as tabloids discovered that Stewart had been cheating on Robert Pattinson with Sanders, who was married at the time. Sanders, the director of the first 'Snow White' film, was married to Liberty Ross who filed for divorce shortly after the scandal was discovered.

What do you think, PopCrushers? Would you see a 'Huntsman' film starring Chris Hemsworth?
