Kristine Osorio Gives Original Spin to Adele’s ‘One and Only’ on ‘American Idol’

28-year-old Kristine Osorio headed to the 'American Idol' auditions on a mission: to succeed. Armed with Adele's 'One and Only' and a sad back story, succeed she did!

The hopeful shared with viewers that she has always dreamed of being a musician, and was even in a band with her husband. Over time, she became a mother of three -- and is soon to be a divorcee. Osorio seemed happy despite her troubles, which are that she's struggling to find work, making extra cash as a hairdresser and working hard jobs just to feed her kids.

Finally, she decided to take out a loan with intentions to pay a divorce lawyer, but instead, made the trip down to Houston, Texas to give her lifelong dream one last shot. It was a shot in the dark, but she hit the target. "Your tenderness is beautiful," Steven Tyler told her after she wrapped a much different version of Adele's 'One and Only.'

Three yeses later, she was out the door and on her way to Hollywood.
