Rough Times in La La Land: Carmelo Anthony and Wife Separate

Carmelo Anthony and his wife of seven years, La La, have separated according to TMZ.

As of last week, the NBA player and the actress/producer have reportedly been living in different places, sources say. La La, famous for roles in movies like Think Like a Man and TV series Power, now has her own New York City apartment.

Carmelo and La La's marriage had been televised on VH1 in a show titled La La's Full Court Wedding. Although they have experienced both good and bad moments together, supposedly the recent NBA season, including trade talks, was particularly stressful for them both.

Even so, the separation has been called amicable by TMZ sources, and the couple were seen this weekend together at their son's basketball game.
