Lady Gaga Kicking Off 2011 GMA Summer Concert Series

Memorial Day weekend will start with the biggest of bangs, as Lady Gaga will kick off the 2011 'Good Morning America' Summer Concert Series. Gaga is scheduled to perform on May 27, 2011 in New York City. It's the same week that her eagerly awaited new album 'Born This Way' hits stores. Gaga-mania is slated to take over New York City for the holiday weekend during which summer begins.

Gaga performed live during a rain shower in New York City on NBC's 'Today' show last July. Despite the pouring rain and the wet, steamy weather, the Mother Monster rocked out as though her life depended on it. We're certain she'll bring the same intensity to her 2011 'GMA' performance in May, inclement weather or not!

Gaga truly is embarking on a full-on media blitz for 'Born This Way' -- hitting every major outlet with a smile. 'Born This Way' is shaping up to be the album launch of the century.
