Lady Gaga has shown a talent for reinventing her songs in the live performance setting, and she did that over the weekend with an acoustic version of her latest single, 'Marry the Night,' at the India Formula One Grand Prix in New Delhi.

"I feel like I've waited a lifetime to come here tonight," Gaga told the Indian crowd. "I'm so happy that I get to be here and sing for all of you."

She began playing the song's slow intro, accompanied by piano and guitar. When the chorus arrived, the thumping beat was nowhere to be found. The song remained a quiet ballad until the end, calling to mind the beautiful, piano-only version of 'The Edge of Glory' Gaga performed on Howard Stern's radio show.

Written by Gaga and Fernando Garibay, 'Marry the Night' is the fifth single from Gaga's 'Born This Way' album, following the title track, 'Judas,' 'The Edge of Glory' and 'You and I.' While doing interviews in India, Gaga said that she will be directing the 'Marry the Night' video, marking the first time she has directed a video on her own.
