Lady Gaga must record music in her sleep. Mother Monster is gearing up to release 'ARTPOP,' her fourth album in five years, and it's shaping up to be one of the most exiciting albums of 2013.

Little Monsters and casual fans alike will finally get a closer glimpse at Gaga's creative process, as Terry Richardson's documenting the making-of for all to see. Gaga also revealed that she has written about 50 songs for the LP so far and will edit down from there, just as she's done on her previous works.

Very few confirmed details have been revealed about 'ARTPOP' from Gaga's camp. We know for sure there will be a girl power anthem titled ‘G.U.Y. (Girl Under You)’ on the album, and the track list could also possibly include her experimental rap tune 'Cake' and a track titled 'Burqa.' 'ARTPOP' also might have a 'Telephone' continuation, a collaboration with Azealia Banks and Beyonce titled 'Ratchet,' and could even spill into a second volume.

Though Mother Monster has apologized for the album taking so long (she does write all of her own songs, after all), she assured fans that 'ARTPOP' is shaping up to be a risky piece of work. Lady Gaga taking major musical risks? We'd expect nothing less and look forward to hearing the fruits of her labor.
