Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Carrie Underwood to Join Steven Tyler on ‘American Idol’ Stage

As the clock ticks down to the season finale of 'American Idol,' a new report says that Lady Gaga, Beyonce and Carrie Underwood will take the stage with Steven Tyler tonight for the ultimate collaboration.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 'Idol' judge will be joined by the Season 4 winner and recent mentors to perform a group medley with Season 10 finalists Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina. Underwood and Tyler performed 'Undo It' and 'Walk This Way' together earlier this year at the 2011 ACM Awards.

The star power of the 'Idol' finale is further bolstered by a previously announced performance by Bono and the Edge, who will sing alongside the cast of the Broadway musical 'Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark.' The U2 band members wrote the score to the troubled production.

Another rumor suggests that Jennifer Lopez will hit the stage tonight, too, although that may just be wishful thinking after audiences lapped up her recent 'Idol' performance of her hit single 'On the Floor.'

The season finale of 'American Idol' airs tonight on FOX at 8PM ET.
