Lady Gaga had to cancel most of the North American leg of her Born This Way Ball due to health complications, but she had been traipsing the globe on the tour since the summer of 2012.

She battled fierce religious group protests in South Korea and in Indonesia, the latter of which resulted in the cancellation of a sold out show and extremists threatening to intercept her at the airport when she touched down. Still, she powered on and did her thing.

She was faced some conservative, right wing opposition on the newest leg of the tour, given her 'Born This Way' motto and credo.
