Lady Gaga’s chart-topping single ‘Born This Way’ is getting a taste of India with two new remixes: One is a Bollywood mix by brother duo Salim and Sulaiman, while the other is an urban desi mix by Culture Shock.

“Gaga has truly fallen in love with India, so we’re helping her pursue this audience to authentically connect with both the huge diaspora and South Asia itself,” says Anjula Acharia-Bath, the CEO of the production company behind the remixes.

“We collaborated with Indian music producers from across the globe to show our respect and appreciation for our desi fans and music community,” says Troy Carter, CEO of Gaga’s management company.

Bollywood film music is very popular in India, while urban desi is a genre that combines traditional Indian music with Western pop and R&B. The latest versions of ‘Born This Way’ follow the country mix that hit iTunes last week and the Starsmith mix that appears on the ‘Songs for Japan’ charity compilation.
