Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars Join 2011 MTV’s EMA Performance Lineup
If there's an awards show or a benefit or a magazine cover, you can bet your sweet patoot that Lady Gaga will be there, wearing 12-inch platforms, underwear as outerwear, priceless couture or attending as her male alter ego, that super sexy gent known as Jo Calderone. It's an event when Gaga arrives, so the 2011 MTV EMAs -- which are the European version of the VMAs -- have just elevated their status a notch now that Gaga is on the guest list.
Not only will Gaga be in attendance, but the Mother Monster will also perform at the show, which will take place in Belfast. It’s enough to make you want to book a ticket to Europe to catch the spectacle, isn’t it?
Gaga won three EMAs last year but had to accept via satellite since she was on tour, which is what she does when she’s not at awards shows or at photo shoots! The woman never sleeps, seriously. She probably owns stock in Red Bull.
As if Gaga showing up and entertaining wasn’t big enough news, crooner Bruno Mars was just announced as a performer as well, so the awesome quotient of the EMAs was just upped another level! Perhaps the international contingent of Mars' four million Twitter followers is stoked about this spot of good news.
Bruno will close his sold out Euro tour with his EMA slot, so that's what we call going out with a bang.
