Lady Gaga Called a ‘Slut’ by Staten Island Borough President
Uh oh, someone’s calling out Lady Gaga – and it’s not for the 25 pounds she recently added to her otherwise petite frame!
James Molinaro, the Staten Island Borough President, had a few choice words for the singer at the launch of a new campaign “stop glorifying drug use in the media.” All of this stems from Gaga’s recent use of marijuana at a concert in Amsterdam. Mind you, smoking pot in Amsterdam is legal, so we’re not quite sure why Molinaro’s making a big fuss, but … he is.
“Here’s this … this … I would call her a slut,” he said of Gaga at the launch, while pointing at a picture of the star at the aforementioned concert. “This slut is influencing many, many children … To me, she’s not an actress, she’s a slut … in the pure meaning of the word.”
Based on his super educational rant, you can obviously tell that he has no clue as to who Gaga is. Actress? Har-har. She’s a singer, dude. And a pretty legitimate one at that. Sure, she may walk around in outfits that’d her out to be part of a freak show, but if you’re going to make an example out of someone, at least get your facts right.
No one likes an ill-informed idiot. But hey, it’s politics after all.
