Bad news, little monsters. Lady Gaga has had to cancel the rest of her Born This Way Ball tour, which kicked off its North American leg last month.

After canceling three shows upon revealing she was suffering from synovitis, which is an inflammation of the joints, it has been revealed that the entire Ball is being canceled so Gaga can have surgery, which requires a significant recovery period.

This has got to be killing her, emotionally, since she was devastated to have axe three shows. To have to table the whole tour is likely more agonizing than her injury, since she lives to perform for her monsters.

A post on her Little Monsters social media site revealed the details of Gaga's condition, which is worse than we thought and apparently worse than she thought.

We will say this: Gaga must be in severe pain and in danger of causing further damage to herself, since there is no way she'd cancel gigs unless her situation and circumstance were absolutely dire.

Below is the announcement of the cancelation of the tour.

Live Nation Global Touring has confirmed that the remainder of the Lady Gaga Born This Way Ball performances have been cancelled.

After additional tests this morning to review the severity of the issue, it has been determined that Lady Gaga has a labral tear of the right hip. She will need surgery to repair the problem, followed by strict down time to recover. This unfortunately, will force her to cancel the tour, so she can heal.

Refunds for the cancelled performances will be available at point of purchase starting Feb 14, 2013.

Get better soon, Gaga. We know you'll be back when you are in fighting shape.
