Japan had all the early fun when it comes to Lady Gaga's Fame fragrance. Fame -- the world's first-ever black perfume -- launched with a pop-up store in Tokyo on Tuesday (Aug. 1.) It was like a perfume party for Gaga's adorable minions.

Gaga also shared the second print ad, where she was poured into a glossy, second-skin, black catsuit, earlier this week. Clearly, the Fame promotional campaign is in full effect, firing on all cylinders.

Apparently, nearly 2,000 little monsters were on hand to catch a spritz and a whiff of Fame and they waited nearly 40 hours to inhale the sweet scent. Unfortunately, the Mother Monster herself was not onsite engaging in a little olfactory fun with her Harajuku monsters; but she did tweet her love and thanks for their undying support.

Check out footage, captured by those fashionistas at ELLE Japan, from the event, where little monsters of all genders, shapes, sizes and costumes showed up to experience the scent of Eau de Gaga.

Fame is coming to the U.S. very soon, American-based little monsters, so be patient. Indulge in this video for a minute and get amped up for the U.S. launch.
