Lady Gaga’s Little Monsters Protest Madonna Presenting at GLAAD Awards

Lady Gaga's little monsters didn’t appreciate Madonna's perpetual dissing of Mother Monster in the press and on her MDNA tour last year. They are so angered by her Madgesty that they penned an angry, open letter to GLAAD, expressing their displeasure at Madonna presenting an award to Anderson Cooper at the GLAAD Awards.

It's not merely because they think Gaga is the true gay rights gladiator who deserves the right to present Cooper with the award, either. The monsters also believe that Madge is responsible for spreading the AIDS virus. WTF?

Gaga's fan say Madonna encouraged gay men to have unprotected sex during the '80s, when the disease began to spread unchecked. That's a rather unsubstantiated claim, and Madonna has always been a crusader for gay rights, just like Gaga has been. The disease's spread can not and should not be attributed to her, since she was a vocal supporter of the gay community and fiercely protected it, which helped elevate her to the gay icon status that she still holds.

Also, this vocal minority and faction of monsters claims they will retaliate against GLAAD in a "way you won't like." That's certainly ominous. Gaga, call off the dogs.

The text of the letter that makes the dubious claims is below.

Dear GLAAD:

It has come to the attention to Little Monsters everywhere that you are letting Madonna give an award to Anderson Cooper. Not only is this an insult to a true gay rights activist like Lady Gaga, but it insults every gay man and woman on this planet.

Madonna is one of the major reasons for AIDS. Back in the 1980’s, she encouraged gay men to have unprotected sex. While she certainly didn’t start the disease, she and her lack of morals helped it spread.

Please rethink your choice of having Madonna as a presenter. If you don’t, we Little Monsters will strike back in a way you won’t like.
