Lady Gaga to Debut Fashion Short Film at Paris Fashion Week
Earlier this year, Lady Gaga fell in love with fashion designer Thierry Mugler's wares. Last March, she even walked in his Fall 2011 fashion show in Paris, looking like a super model in a flowy white dress and major, statement hat with a massive brim. Gaga is returning to that well next week by participating in Mugler's upcoming season show, albeit in a very different way.
According to a post on Mugler's website, a Gaga-related short film directed by photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, featuring a creative direction assist by Haus of Gaga stylist (and Mugler creative director) Nicola Formichetti, will debut during the unveiling of Mugler's Spring/Summer 2012 women's wear collection during Paris Fashion Week.
The fashion show takes place on Sept. 28. A remix of a Gaga song is used in the film and it's previously unreleased. Van Lamsweerde and Matadin should be familiar names to little monsters, as they are the directors of Gaga's eye arresting alternate 'You & I' fashion videos, which have been landing every week.
If you aren't a fashionista or a fashion editor jetting to the City of Lights to take in the fashion show live and in the flesh, an edit of the film will debut the following day online, so you'll be able to enjoy it too! More details on where that version of the short film will land are forthcoming.
