Lady Gaga gets it. The 24-year-old phenom understands the public's fascination with celebrities and the fame it creates. And while Gaga is revered for her dancefloor friendly songs, her fashion choices, her sky high platforms, her support of gay rights and her performance spectacles, she considers her fame to be her most artistic endeavor.

"One of my greatest artworks is the art of fame. I am a master of the art of fame," the pop diva tells Anderson Cooper in their upcoming '60 Minutes' interview airing this Sunday. Perhaps her mastery of the art of fame is why she called one of her releases, 'The Fame Monster!'

Gaga also demonstrated a keen insight and understanding of the cult of celebrity when she tells Cooper,
"Everybody wants to see the decay of the superstar.” She adds, "They want to see me fail.
They want to see me fall on stage. They want to see me vomiting out of a night club ... Isn't that the age we live in? That we want to see people who have it all lose it all?"

Maybe some of those ne'er-do-well starlets like Lindsay Lohan should start gawking at Gaga to learn how to behave and navigate the murky waters of fame.

The '60 Minutes' interview is set to air Sunday, Feb. 13 at 7PM ET on CBS, just before the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards show.
