Lady Gaga + Kim Kardashian Are Not Feuding Over a Stylist

Squashed. That's what Lady Gaga's rep did to that perky, lingering rumor that she and preggers Kim Kardashian are feuding over "ownership" of Gaga's stylist Nicola Formichetti.

Several tabs said a catfight was brewing between the stars, suggesting that Kardashian recruited Formichetti to her employ while Gaga is off her feet and off the road as she recovers from tour-ending hip surgery.

The story spiraled that Gaga was not stoked that the reality star and Kanye West's baby mama was encroaching on her fashion turf and claws were bared. A source even said that Mama Monster is "fiercely protective of the people she works with and she’s always been determined to have Nicola all to herself."

While Formichetti is Haus of Gaga's style maven, he also works for Thierry Mugler and does work for a variety of fashion magazines, so he is not the sole "property" of Gaga. He styled Kimmy for ELLE because he works for the publication, not for the Kardashian Klan, which was the root of the rumor.

Gaga's rep told Gossip Cop that rumors of a beef are totally false. End o' story.

Still, it would have been fun to see a war of words ensue between these two very different fashionistas.
