Lady Gaga Moving to London?

Lady Gaga always seems somewhat proud of the fact that she doesn't have a home to hang her hats (and wigs.) She has spoken about the freedom that goes along with being somewhat nomadic and gypsy-like in her existence, crashing at her parents in NYC and in hotels while tossing her things into storage.

She's said she is not ready to commit to home ownership, having stated,"I’m not ready to buy a house. It feels like marriage or something. It’s such a commitment. I don’t like it," and is often seen crashing at her boyfriend Taylor Kinney's Cali beach shack.

Despite her claims of loving the homeless life, a new rumor has surfaced that Gaga is moving to London. Or that she has at least purchased a piece of property there. The Metro in the U.K. reports that Gaga has plunked down some cash on a new luxury apartment in Fitzrovia, north of Oxford Street in a posh development. The area is popular among celeb types -- Madonna once owned a townhouse in the area and probably thinks Gaga's interest in moving there is "reductive."

The complex that Gaga might move into is not yet complete, but will have a modern concrete exterior, floor-to-ceiling windows, four luxury penthouses, a roof garden and a communal courtyard! That's some fancy digs suited for a Lady. It's also a decent investment. Gaga has been banking plenty of cash since her career took off, and what better way to increase her wealth than by purchasing some nice property? She'd be a wandering Gaga no more!

Plus, she can have a huge walk-in to store all her amazing platforms and couture clothing.
