Lady Gaga posted photographic proof that she's back in the studio once again recording her fifth studio album.

The recent Emmy Awards presenter and Tony Bennett's youngest friend posted evidence of a recording session to Instagram last night (September 22) in the form of a black-and-white photo of Gaga with long-time collaborator RedOne, along with the caption: "We wear our sunglasses at night #LG5."

Gaga also posted a muted video of someone playing guitar and a photo of green sound waves with no caption or explanation, but we're content in inferring that this means the possibility of an ARTPOP 2.0 -- an idea of which she floated around for way too long, up until last year -- died so that #LG5 could live.

RedOne spoke with The National earlier this year about returning to work with Gaga, saying “We took a little break from each other and now it feels like we are in a good place, both of us. She did her thing, I did my thing, and it feels like we’re back on track together...With Gaga, I’m fully committed until we’re done — we’re just going to work on writing songs — 20, 30, 40 songs — until we get hopefully the best album of the decade.”

“The new material feels great. And that’s what it is like with me and her – when we both feel great, it’s incredible. A lot of it is to do with trust, no ego, just love for the music. And when it’s fun and respectful, putting the egos aside, it’s magic," he continued.
