Let the Lady Gaga new album and single theories begin!

Gaga is working on the follow up to 'Born This Way,' planning to share the title in September. She debuted the may-or-may-not-make-the-record piano ballad 'Princess Die' in concert in Australia, so excitement for the new disc is booming.

A re-worked demo of 'Nothing On (But the Radio)' has leaked, with a fan tweeting that they heard Gaga blasting the song in her vehicle, leading to speculation that it'll be her next single and first from the new album.

Those little monsters sure are an enterprising bunch, digging for any and all hints or clues about what to expect from the Mother Monster in the musical realm.

Whether this is an old demo being reworked or not is all a matter of conjecture -- anything is possible.

Here's what we know: The song is a 2010 demo that was written by Billy Steinberg, who worked on Demi Lovato's 'Give Your Heart a Break' and Madonna's 'Like a Virgin,' so his resume is stocked with major pop hits.

To our ears, this is what we think Gaga would sound like in the fertile period in between 'The Fame Monster' and 'Born This Way.' It's synthy and it's dancey, but her voice is not as strong as she showcased on 'You & I' and 'The Edge of Glory,' two major 'BTW' singles. It's also not nearly as sophisticated as anything on 'BTW,' but then again, this could just be a demo that's either being planned for the album or that was rejected for previous albums and reared its head somehow, some way.

Go here to read the fan's comments, saying that she was blasting the song in a Suburban SUV.

And here is the tweet where the sound engineer asks if a fan can guess the first letter of the title of the new single, which might be a good clue to further explore, especially if you are a Gaga sleuth looking to piece together bits of information to come up with a theory.
