It all made sense as Lady Gaga emerged from her egg -- or womb -- to perform 'Born This Way' at tonight's Grammy awards.

Gaga and her entourage of back-up dancers charged the stage with high-energy dance performance, which had the crowd screaming as Gaga showed us that she came out of the womb (get it?) as the person she is.

The 'Bad Romance' Grammy winner bared her stomach and whipped her hair back and forth as she laid down dynamite first live performance her new single, while her dancers had stripped down to their baby birthday suits by the end of the song.

Though her skin-colored costume was relatively mild compared to some of her outfits, Gaga's 'Born This Way' performance was nothing short of memorable as she shouted "Don't be a drag, just be a queen!" into the microphone.
