Lady Gaga spilled a lot of details about her new look, her new song 'Applause' and the media-created feud with Katy Perry, who she respects, during her chat with Ryan Seacrest.

Here's the meat of the chat, where she revealed that the applause of little monsters got her through the excruciating pain of her hip injury, performing through the pain for three (!!!) months.

Gaga explained the origin of the clown makeup for the 'Applause' art saying, "We were shooting [the video] and I had this clown makeup on my face and as I was singing, I got passionate and frustrated because I really missed my fans. And the tour stopping that quickly, was difficult. We had to say goodbye to an album and a show we loved so much…I took my hands and smeared the makeup on my face to look like tears. It became one of my favorite scenes in the video so we used it for the 'Applause' cover."

She was crushed to table the Born This Way Ball, and had no closure on that matter. She had to go away, leave her fans and heal, reluctantly.

"When I was finishing the tour, I was physically breaking,” she said. "I was in a lot of pain, but didn’t know where, really. Anyone that’s a performer and does these world tours will tell you your body goes through a tremendous amount of stress, and I just didn’t know what was wrong. I am kind of a hardcore chick and I have a strong threshold for pain, so I kept slapping myself saying, ‘Come on, get it together, get in the show, what's going on with you.'

"And I was going crazy cause my moves didn’t feel the same and it doesn't feel the same on center stage…the only thing that kept me going was the applause. The applause of the fans, and their faces, and screaming every night, saying, 'Gaga we love you' every night, I was able to drown out the pain and finish the show."

She also addressed the faux feud between herself and Perry, who is also releasing an album, saying, "I was really bothered by the media pitting me and Katy Perry against each other because look, we just both happened to want to put our singles out within a week of each other. And it’s not necessarily convenient for everyone and may be a little bit awkward. But we don’t need to force-feed this negativity in to it until everybody explodes it just turns it in to a competition and that is not what I am about at all. I really like Katy Perry and I really like her fans.

"I respect everyone in this industry because it was really hard for me to get here and I’m sure it wasn’t easy for her to get where she is, so I just wanted to put an end to it before it started."

Mommy Monster discussed her full-frontal nakedness as part of the Marina Abramovic promo video, explaining what else went into that drama, like being left to find her way home. It's strange, yes. Her explanation comes halfway through the chat. We tried wrapping our head around it and failed, so we'll leave it to you.

The singer also explained how she chooses lyrics and titles through word vibration and that she does wear one of the previously worn Michael Jackson items she bought while mixing her record.

Guys, trust us, it's a long and exhausting -- in a good way -- discussion that goes deep on 'ARTPOP.'

Ma Monster also cleared up the rumor that she was born rich. She wasn't. She grew up in a modest apartment and she worked every day to earn her spot.

Seacrest even posted a photo where she gave him an 'Applause' makeover.

He posted: "One of us was born this way, one of us needed to be touched up."

Rejoice and love yourself today, Ryan!
