Lady Gaga brought her signature pink "Joanne" hat to Saturday Night Live on Saturday, October 22, the day following the release of her brand new, country-tinged studio album Joanne.

Joining host Tom Hanks for the episode, the pop star shimmied and sang her way through two Joanne singles: the rowdy, rollicking "A-Yo" and the sparkling ballad "Million Reasons."

During "A-Yo," the singer-musician put on a spirited display—rolling her hips manically and writhing on the floor underneath a "mirror on the cei-ei-ling"—while her collaborators Mark Ronson and BloodPop jammed along with the band.

Her performance of "Million Reasons," the intimate ballad with lyrics rumored to be about her breakup with her former fiance Taylor Kinney, was a much quieter affair, the artist pouring her heart out on the piano, co-writer Hillary Lindsey joining her on acoustic guitar.

The weekend before Gaga's Saturday Night Live gig, Bruno Mars was the musical guest on October 15th, where he performed "24K Magic" as well as debuted a new song, "Chunky."
