The key members of Lady Gaga's Haus of Gaga entourage are as recognizable to little monsters as the Mother Monster herself. Stylist Nichola Formichetti and choreographer and creative force Laurieann Gibson are two of the most visible members of her posse but now, Media Takeout is reporting that Gaga and Gibson have split.

While there has been no confirmation of this news from Gaga's camp, word is the ladies, who co-directed the controversial 'Judas' video, had a bitter flight and parted ways after Gibson's ego started to spiral out of control. Gibson has become even more visible with her reality show. A source close to the situation said, "Laurieann is a bit of a diva, but she had her ego under control -- not anymore."

Gibson also once told the L.A. Times that she purposely created Gaga in Madonna's image and likeness, which is a comparison Gaga is trying to distance herself from.

Gibson said, "Listen, [Madonna] should be bitter because I [made Lady Gaga in her image] on purpose and you can quote me. I did it on purpose because for all those kids who believe that you can’t, I wanted to let them feel that you can." It's certainly a strong word to say she "made" Gaga, but still, Gaga and Gibson always appeared so close.

The ladies reportedly had a phone spat last week, with Gaga threatening to fire Gibson. It got heated and Gibson hung up on her boss and tossing around the term "sue." Uh oh. This could get ugly.
