Lady Gaga Tweets Stage Design for ‘Born This Way Ball’ + Unveils ‘The Monster Pit’
Lady Gaga is getting ready for her next tour, which is the 'Born This Way Ball.' The trek is set for 2012 through 2013. To get little monsters psyched about her return to the road, she tweeted a black and white sketch of the massive, wonderland-like stage set up, along with some details about a newly created entity called 'The Monster Pit.'
The stage design looks like a sprawling, expansive and epic castle, with the Monster Pit surrounded by a moat and cordoned off. What is this Monster Pit we speak of?
Well, a few hours before unveiling the stage design, Gaga posted: "To give you a bit of insight on the design of my new tour, the central area within the stage will be known as 'The Monster Pit.'"
She then posted more details of this "Pit," revealing: "'The Monster Pit' is General Admission only, and Little Monsters unlock it when they arrive to the arena or stadium."
The Mother Monster then wrote: "Entry to 'The Monster Pit' is relegated to the fans who have arrived first, waited all night, + dressed to 'Ball.'"
So it's like a costume party of sorts?
She finished with this tweet:"Every night Haus of Gaga will choose fans from The Monster Pit to come back stage + meet me! These tickets are NOT more expensive."
So the Monster Pit tickets are affordable and if you happen to nab these exclusive tickets, you might get to meet Gaga in all her glory. It's like the reverse of roadies that troll the pit at rock shows and give laminated passes to the hot girls so they can get busy with the rockers after the shows. We're guessing that little monsters would auction off their kidneys to get Monster Pit tickets.
Gaga was quick to clarify that there is no dress code. She wants everyone to show up and have fun. She posted: "Reading your questions : ) No dress code requirement. "Born This Way" means anything goes."
Gaga finally tweeted the image at the stroke of midnight. Beforehand, she professed her love for little monsters, telling the to have the time of their lives. Oh how they will at the 'Born This Way Ball.'
