The 'American Idol' season finale has been confirmed. According to Perez Hilton, the finale will be female-centric, as Lady Gaga and Fleetwood Mac vocalist Steve Nicks will both perform on the last episode of Season 10. Gaga and Stevie Nicks on one stage? Talk about show-stopping and a collision of genres and eras!

It has not been revealed if Gaga and Nicks will partner up for a duet or if the ladies will strictly perform solo, but with 'American Idol,' and Gaga specifically, anything is possible. Gaga brought her epic theatrical drama to the 'Idol' stage last season, when she performed 'Alejandro' along with a snippet of 'Bad Romance' thrown in for good measure. She also performed her breakthrough hit 'Poker Face' in 2009.

Gaga is certainly preparing for the release of 'Born This Way' by partnering with 'Idol' twice in the coming month. She is also serving as the mentor for the Final Four on this coming week's performance episode, which airs Wednesday night at 8PM. It's a Gaga takeover at 'American Idol' as the season winds down and a new winner is crowned.
