Even though Lady Gaga just wrapped the Monster Ball world tour -- which took her across the globe and to the ends of the earth and back -- she is already planning her return to the road in 2012 for the Born This Way tour.

Gaga shouldn't invest in a mortgage or a lease, because it doesn't seem like the pop star ever has any time to see the inside of her digs, since she is always on the road or jetting off to different locales to perform and play with her monsters.

Gaga lived on the road for the past 18 months, playing a whopping 201 shows in that time frame. The world tour ended in May, as 'Born This Way' was releasing. It clearly paid off, as she moved over a million units of the album during its release week.

Gaga will start tour rehearsals later this year, telling MTV, "I do have plans, it will be at the top of next year but I have to begin rehearsing by the end of this year. That's what I do. It's time for another marathon. If you're running a marathon, and you're about to cross the finish line, you don't stop and say 'Oh, once I cross it, it's over.' You run as fast as you can to get there as quickly as you can."

Gaga, you are the hardest working pop star in show business.
