Lady Gaga Gets 34 Wedding Dress Sketches From Top Designers

It must be nice to be Lady Gaga. It's only been a few months since she first announced her engagement to Taylor Kinney and she already has an army of designers at her disposal, all of whom have prepared sketches for her future wedding dress.

As soon as Gaga first made the wedding announcement, it looks like some of the world's top designers -- 34 to be exact -- took it upon themselves to flesh out their own wedding dress designs, all in the hopes of being the one chosen to create what will, undoubtedly, be one of the most talked about fashion moments of the year -- whenever that may be. Seriously though, imagine having huge names like Karl Lagerfeld, Monique Lhullier, Diane Von Furstenberg, Betsey Johnson and Alexander Wang (just to name a few) all clamoring over themselves to get the chance to personally design your wedding dress.

Gaga, always one to show her humility and gratitude, posted her thanks to the many designers who came through with sketches via Twitter earlier today (May 20). She wrote, "Thanku to all the very special&generous designers who designed over 30 wedding dresses 4 the most important day of my life. I'm speechless. [sic]"

The sketches range from a more traditional, long gown to heavily structured pieces to outfits that would deliver the kind of shock value we've grown so accustomed to getting from Gaga. There's no word yet as to what it is, exactly, that she's looking for in a wedding dress but Gaga did say she wants to make Kinney happy. She said (quote via Women's Wear Daily), "It will be totally for Taylor. It's all about my man. I haven't really thought about anything specific yet but whatever it is, it will be totally for him."
