It looks like leaking isolated vocals is the new trend amongst disgruntled soundboard techies who want to lose their jobs. From Taylor Swift at the American Music Awards to Mariah Carey at the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting, we've had the chance to hear the vocals without the backing music from some of the biggest stars around nowadays.

Sometimes the recordings are a little rough, and we have to close the window mid-way through to shield ourselves from the secondhand embarrassment. (To be fair, we totally understand how hard it is to sing and dance at the same time.) But then Lady Gaga's vocals leaked and confirmed for us something we were already totally well aware of: The girl can seriously sing.

When Lady Gaga performed at the Kennedy Center Honors, we were totally blown away by her performance. She killed it, because that's what she does every time. But then her isolated vocals from the performance leaked and we were even more impressed. Those of us that have followed her career are well aware of the fact that Gaga never really phones it in for performances. Between her stellar vocals and her insanely passionate performances, she brings her A-game every time. And while we've always known this to be true, it's another thing entirely to hear her sing without any audio behind her voice. She sounds totally impassioned and on-point.

What do you guys think? Do you love the fact that Gaga kills it every time? Listen to the audio above and let us know!
