Lana Del Rey Dons Darker Hair Color

While many people choose to go brighter and bolder for the springtime and summer season, Lana Del Rey isn't really one to follow norms. While visiting London, Del Rey stepped out donning a new hair color. The 'Video Games' songstress opted for a darker hair color this time at the salon, and we think the 25-year-old is rocking the deep chestnut shade. 

Del Rey was snapped by photographers as she exited BBC Maida Vale Studios. Although she was overseas, the New York native paid tribute to her homeland in a Yankees warmup jacket and jeans. Even though her hair color was a light shade of brown (borderline dirty blonde) to begin with, this is by far the darkest we've seen Lana's hair as of late. It almost looks like Lana is moving down the hair dye gradient, as she used to be a bleach blonde back during her Lizzy Grant period.

Del Rey has been making the rounds in London, as well. Earlier this week, she tweeted a video of herself leaving the Camden Jazz Cafe in the bustling U.K. metropolis. At that show, Del Rey performed tracks like 'Blue Jeans' while wearing a Guns N' Roses T-shirt -- which was undoutedbly a jab at paparazzi who have been throwing fuel on the relationship fire. The singer was seen out and about with 50-year-old GNR frontman Axl Rose, although his bandmate denied that the unlikely pair are an item.
