Lana Del Rey will have another opportunity to silence the naysayers who swear she can't sing live. Idolator reports that the 'Video Games' chanteuse has been added to the 2012 South By Southwest (SXSW) lineup.

The SXSW festival takes place in Austin, Texas every spring -- and it's a huge deal. By the numbers, SXSW typically lasts four days, can have close to 2,000 performers performing in any of the 90 venues of the downtown Austin area and has hosted nearly 12,000 fans in a single festival.

SXSW is only the latest addition to a full slate of appearances for Del Rey. Following her polarizing 'Saturday Night Live' performance, the artist formerly known as Lizzy Grant has plenty of opportunities to redeem herself. She'll croon on 'The Late Show with David Letterman' on Feb. 2,  is slated to perform on 'The Ellen Degeneres Show' (date TBA) and has a spring tour in the works.

All these promotional appearances are designed to help push Del Rey's debut album. 'Born to Die' hits shelves Jan. 31 and is one of the most hotly anticipated -- and debated -- releases of 2012.
