Lana Del Rey has practically trademarked melancholic, blues-filled pop music with a vintage filter. This imagery comes to life in her new video for 'Ultraviolence.'

Part of Lana's charm is her ability to captivate her audience, whether it's through an interview, her music, or -- of course -- her videos. She's at the top of her game in 'Ultraviolence,' as the first two-and-a-half minutes show the singer standing in a garden, dressing for a wedding.

Lana breathily sings about pain and beauty as she dons a white veil and slowly makes her way to the chapel. She pauses along the way to collect her bouquet of white lilies. The sunlight is beautifully filtered through the trees around her. It's perfectly pastoral -- and a chilling juxtaposition to the haunting mood of the song.

The tension in the video builds until Lana walks into the chapel -- and what happens next is something we never expected!
