Lance Bass is a reality show mogul! The former 'N Sync member has sold six reality shows to producers, reports New York Magazine. Six shows? Wow. That's a lot of reality TV. However, the one that most Bass fans will be interested in is the one that VH1 purchased, which is a boy band-themed project.

Bass told New York that "it's a really great music show, starring all your favorite boy bands. It's going to be really fun." We might need plastic surgery to remove the smiles from our faces since the show will be so much fun, but Bass isn't kidding about the scope of the show being highly entertaining. He is recruiting fellow former boy band-ers to be a part of the series, serving as coaches who put together a boy band, a la 'The Voice.'

He continued, "I got a member from Backstreet Boys, A.J. McLean. A member from 'N Sync, Joey Fatone. A member from New Kids on the Block, Joe McIntyre. And a member from New Edition, Bobby Brown. They're all going to form a boy band, each, from the most talented guys in America that I've scouted, and then they'll go head-to-head in a competition to see who the best band is, so it's bragging rights for the guy in the group, for sure."

Indeed, there is a lot at stake, ego-wise, for those who work to put together a new boy band, upping the drama of the show. Who wouldn't want to be the best at assembling a boy band? Bass is onto something here.

There is one caveat, though. Brown isn't officially linked to the show … yet. "I think Bobby will do it," Bass said optimistically. "I think he'd love it." Brown is no stranger to reality TV, as his 'Being Bobby Brown' placed the microscope squarely into his life and his daily activities. Come on, Bobby. It's your prerogative! Join the show. PopCrush will be watching.
