Fans on Lauren Alaina's email list were the first to see the official artwork today for the 'American Idol' runner-up's debut album, 'Wildflower,' due in stores on Oct. 11.

The brightly-lit shot features a close-up of Alaina's face on a colorless background. She wears soft pink lipstick and has a pink glow in her cheeks as she gazes off into the distance.

The cursive word 'Wildflower' is written in light brown text, matching the darker streaks in the front of Alaina's blond hair, and illustrated wildflowers decorate the upper corners of the image.

In the email, Alaina told her supporters, "I can't wait for you to hear the album, which has 12 songs, including one that I co-wrote. All of the songs are very different, so there's something on 'Wildflower' for everybody. Each song tells a story that I really related to, and my hope is that the songs will touch your heart as well."

'Wildflower' will include Alaina's first single, 'Like My Mother Does,' and 'She's a Wildflower,' a song about a late bloomer who finds her path later in life.
