In case the speed of Lorelai Gilmore's diction isn't enough to make your head spin, actress Lauren Graham, who plays the Gilmore Girls' cool mom, is putting it to paper.

In an interview clip posted to Ellen Degeneres' EllenTube, the actress revealed she's writing a book of essays based on her time on the CW-turned-Netflix series' set. And as if the news couldn't get any better, the project's slated to be released in tandem with Gilmore Girls: A Year in The Lifewhich will extend the original Gilmore Girls story into a four-part movie streaming miniseries.

"I thought that it was so, kind of, strange and wonderful to have played this character and to get to play her again that I started writing about it,” Graham says in the segment above. “I have a book of essays that are hopefully humorous, coming out concurrent when the show comes out. It’s called Talking as Fast as I Can! for obvious reasons."

In case you're unfamiliar, here are some of the obvious reasons:

Graham's first book, Someday, Someday, Maybe: A Novel, was released in 2013. The story's a fictional adaptation of Graham's life in New York City in the '90s and, coincidentally enough, she's turning it into a CW series — under Ellen's A Very Good Production company, according to TVLine.
